Every business is unique and has different needs, even though they may have the same mission or objective.  That's why we approach each client and each project independently and objectively.  We have successfully managed projects in various disciplines including Customer Service, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal, Manufacturing, Payroll, Sales and Marketing, and Event Planning/Coordination.  Listed below is a sample of some of our recent projects, displaying our industry and discipline diversity.  We've also included some projects that are in process and some which have been completed.

Legacy Wind Energy, LLC - Legacy Wind Energy is a renewable energy company located in Minnesota that has a goal of improving the environment and economy by providing sustainable energy to communities within the Minnesota/North Dakota area.  Our responsibilities include assisting with the development of business materials (i.e. Business Plan, Marketing/Communication Plan, Business Brief, presentations), create and manage the project plan, assist with the project rollout, perform research, assist with the creation of their web site and web content, assist with Investor Relations and provide general consulting to help ensure a successful project.  Some tools that we have already completed include a Customer/Stakeholder Identification and a SIPOC (Suppliers, Inputs, Process, Outputs, Customers).  These tools help us identify all of our customer segments and all of the resources (inputs) that go into building and maintaining a wind farm including all the outputs of the project/process.

Scott Schaefer, Tranquil Flute - Scott is a Wold Music Instrumentalist that we met by chance.  After hearing him play, we felt his music was soothing, calming and really touched your heart.  We were hired by Scott to help him achieve his goals of increasing event bookings and CD sales.  With that in mind, we have identified ways to help Scott expand his personal branding, identify, coordinate, schedule, and negotiate performances and appearances, identify ways to strengthen Scott's resume & portfolio, analyze CD sales data and provide recommendations, and provide other research, analysis and feedback regarding improving Scott's performances and internal processes.

Eric Laubach - Eric has been performing music for over 40 years on guitar and piano with the occasional blues harmonica to support his vocals.  His playlist inlcudes a mixture of blues, covers, traditional classics, holiday tunes and originals.  Eric is also an accomplished song writer with over 60 songs to his credit.  Like Scott, Eric wanted help finding additional event bookings.  But Eric also needed to create a brand and a comprehensive marketing package.  So we designed business cards and a bio.  We assisted Eric with finding a recording studio to create a demo CD and even provided assistance with Eric creating his first full length CD.  We also provide feedback to Eric on his performances, help him manage his MySpace account (schedule) and will assist with the design of his web site.

Nastalgic - Nastalgic is an entertainer that specializes in the classics of the 50's, 60's and 70's.  They bring the best of the past to the stage performing songs from such artists as Elvis, The Everly Brothers, Johnny Mathis, Frank Sinatra, The Platters, Beattles, Dave Clark Five, Doors, Bobby Vee and many more.  The group is comprised of Gerry Corcoran and Scott Davis.

As with Eric and Scott S., our primary responsibility is to help Nastalgic find additional engagements.  To do that, we also needed to help them create a brand (logo, business cards, bio, demo CD).  We also setup and managed a photo shoot so the group could have some professional pictures for their bio and eventual web site.  The photographer for the shoot was our president, Donald Contero.

State of Arizona - In August 2006, we were selected as a vendor on the State's Training contract and awarded a contract to train State employees and other jurisdictions in Quality and Organizational Development training.  Our catalog included Six Sigma Overview, Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, Leadership, Teambuilding, Myers-Briggs and Project Management courses just to name a few.  We also had the ability to provide general consulting as a service.  We were the only company providing Six Sigma training and this was the first time a Six Sigma based company was selected and the training courses offered to employees.  Our contract lasted two years and expired in August 2008.

Mother Daughter Vacation - the objective of the Mother Daughter Vacation was to plan and coordinate a 5-day event that allowed three mothers and their three daughters an opportunity to get to know one another.  Our client felt it was important for the sisters to reconnect and for their daughters, the future of the family, to begin creating a bond that would last for decades to come.  This event was to serve as the inaugural event for many to come.

Our objective was to research potential locations and activities, make all of the arrangements (including airfare and lodging), create diverse daily itineraries, and provide onsite assistance.  The event needed to take place within the next 6 months and stay under a predefined budget.  Our client wanted all of the activities to be a surprise for all of the attendees outside herself and she wanted sole decision making authority.

We started out by gathering general requirements pertaining to locations, activities, desired outcome and restrictions.  After identifying 5 possible locations, we (MB and our client) settled on Seattle, WA.  Once the location was decided, we identified a number of options in regards to lodging, transportation, activities, entertainment and culinary interests.  With the help of our client, we made final selection for lodging and transportation that enabled us to finalize the dates.  We then developed and began executing a communication plan that included regular communication with our selected vendors and attendees.  Our monthly communications to the attendees included their flight itineraries, weather forecasts, packing recommendations, a general overview of activities (without giving away too much detail), and other pertinent information.  The communication plan also included daily itineraries that would be passed out to each attendee detailing the next day's activities, appropriate attire, general information about the activity/event, contact information, quotes and a question of the day.

The event was a success.  The attendees enjoyed the variety of activities, restaurant selections and we were able to deliver the event on time and on budget.  After everyone returned home, we created a detailed summary of the trip and an electronic scrap book that contained pictures from the trip, recipes from the cooking class and most importantly, memories of the Mother Daughter Vacation.  We also recommended to our client that she send a thank you gift to each attendee reminding them that distance is not an excuse that break the bond that had been strengthen by the trip.  In summary, the participants had an exciting 5 day event in Seattle, WA filled with lots of conversation, good companionship, adventure, food, fun and meaningful connections.  Every participant experienced things that they've never done before and they created memories that will last a lifetime.

Tucson SeniorNet - SeniorNet is an organization that provides many services including training to seniors.  For this client, we volunteered to create a brand new training course for seniors who wanted to write their life story.  This course would be based upon a tool the organization planned to use and was generated from a users guide for the tool.  In creating the course, we decided to implement some of the best practices we have learned creating and facilitating training courses.  The result was a 5-week course utilizing PowerPoint presentations to administer the training (one presentation for each of the five modules/classes).  Each module contained a flexible agenda with times, concept summaries and hands on examples.  We also created a facilitators training guide (with instructions for setup, delivering the module and executing the exercises) and a student training guide.  We then trained some of their instructors and coaches on the material (and online application) we created.
